My Journey from the Couch to a 5K

Here is my leg–day two after the dog bite.   Pretty nasty, huh?  I saw my doctor today and got a tetanus shot today.  I also was started on Augmentin for 10 days just as a precaution against infection.  It’s tender but not too terribly painful.  I had a patient’s dog nip at my feet today and it scared me so bad I almost cried! 

I’m going out walking/running again tomorrow but I will be heading back to my beloved and SAFE park!
